The Life and Works of Leslie Rubner aims to bring the works of Leslie (Hershi, László, Menachem Cwi) Rübner to a wider audience.

The site was launched on January 19, 2021 / 6 Shevat 5781 to coincide with the second anniversary of Leslie's passing.

Here you will find Leslie's essays, research and artwork, as well as accounts of his family background, how he survived as a child in hiding during the Holocaust, his daring escape from Hungary during the Hungarian Uprising, and his life up until he settled in England.

We hope you enjoy exploring this website, created in Leslie's memory.
